I WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT BECAUSE...

I WANT TO GLORIFY GOD IN ALL I DO, INCLUDING IN THE WAY I TREAT MY BODY, MYSELF. I WANT TO GLORIFY HIM WITH MY ATTITUDE TOWARD LIFE AND TEMPTATION. I WANT TO GLORIFY HIM WITH DISCIPLINE AND SELF-CONTROL. I WANT TO BE A GOOD STEWARD OF THE LIFE AND BODY HE'S GIVEN ME THAT I MAY LIVE LONG AND BE A PRODUCTIVE PART OF HIS WORLD.

1. I want to be physically healthy and fit
2. I want to feel good physically, emotionally, and mentally
3. I want to be able to do fun things that I resist because of my weight
4. I want to buy clothes that I like and in the size I want. No more XL's
5. I want to be proud of myself
6. I want to be victorious and in control, not feel like a failure
7. I want to feel pretty for my husband, who always says I'm beautiful anyway
8. I want to no longer have back or knee pain
9. I want to live a longer, healthier life and not be a burden to my family as I grow older with the possibility of health issues
10. I want to like myself
11. I want to go shopping and not have to worry whether they'll have a size 18 in what i like and to feel good about the way I look when I try clothes on.
12. I want to be able to run again the way I did when I was in my 20's
